Welcome Letter

........from the desk of our Principal

Welcome! Thank you for considering St. Boniface School for your child’s Catholic education. I want you to be aware of all that St. Boniface School has to offer for your child and I would like to extend a personal invitation to you to visit us and explore further this opportunity for your child.

Our school, located at Pitts and Pullan Avenues in Northside, is a remarkable building, both inside and out. It is difficult to stand in front of St. Boniface School and not be impressed by the physical beauty of the building, itself, as well as, the landscaping and the expansive fenced playground.

I believe that you will be even more impressed upon entering the school. Inside, you will find an auditorium/gymnasium with a regulation size court, a cafeteria with a full kitchen, a large library, Music and Art rooms, computer lab, and, of course, nine bright, beautifully decorated classrooms with brand new desks.

St. Boniface is a K-8 grade school with a capacity for 195 students. Our full day Kindergarten students occupy the space of two large classrooms. Catholic, Christian values are both taught and expected at St. Boniface School. Catholic students are prepared for the sacraments of Holy Eucharist, Reconciliation, and Confirmation. Weekly masses and prayer services are attended by all students on a rotating basis.

All of our teachers are certified by the State of Ohio and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Several of our faculty members have 20 or more years of teaching experience and Masters’ degrees. A number of them are working toward advanced degrees.

As a student at St. Boniface School, your child will also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities such as sports teams, Math Club, Social Action Committee, Technology Club, Big Sisters and Band.

The St. Boniface School tuition payment policy is Cost-based Tuition, Needs–based Tuition Assistance. This means that the actual amount paid is determined by the individual family’s level of need. Tuition assistance is available from a number of sources, including the school, parish and CISE (Catholic Inter-city School Education Fund), as well as other funds. Ohio EdChoice Scholarships are also accepted. Last year, most families paid a family tuition of approximately $100.00 per month. No one should hesitate exploring an educational opportunity at St. Boniface School due solely to financial considerations.

We would welcome the opportunity to share with you everything that St. Boniface School has to offer for your child’s education. Please feel free to call our school office with any questions you might have or to schedule a tour.

It is my hope that you will take me up on my invitation. I will look forward to meeting you and your child!

Sincerely,

Sister Ann Gorman, RSM, Principal
